Getting Started with the Studio
Click “Create New Workflow” from the home page to open the visual Studio where you can build automation workflows:
Building Your Workflow
Add nodes to define the steps in your automation:-
Directive Nodes: Use natural language instructions
- Example: “Login to the dashboard and navigate to the reports page”
- Example: “Find all emails from last week and summarize them”
- The AI interprets these instructions and executes them intelligently
-
Action Nodes: Specify precise actions with JSON parameters
- Use pre-built actions for Gmail, Calendar, Drive
- Execute browser commands (click, type, navigate, extract)
- Combine multiple actions in sequence
- Connect Nodes: Draw connections between nodes to define the execution flow
- Edit & Rearrange: Drag nodes, edit directives, and restructure your workflow visually
Managing Workflows
Once your workflow is ready:- Save: Store the workflow configuration
- Run Now: Execute immediately and watch it run
- Schedule: Set up recurring runs (hourly, daily, weekly, custom cron)
- Version Control: Save multiple versions and restore previous iterations
- Duplicate: Clone workflows to create variations
Monitoring & History
- Active Runs: Watch workflows execute in real-time with live browser view
- Run History: Review past executions with full action logs
- Version History: Track changes to your workflow over time
- Output Data: Access structured results from each run
Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and solutions:-
Workflow Not Starting:
- Check your credit balance in Settings
- Ensure all nodes are properly connected
- Verify that directives are clear and specific
-
Integration Errors:
- Re-authenticate your Google account in the Integrations page
- Verify you’ve granted all necessary permissions
- Check that OAuth tokens haven’t expired
-
Browser Agent Issues:
- Be specific with directives (URLs, exact elements, clear goals)
- Break complex tasks into multiple nodes
- Use the Playground to test directives before adding to workflows
-
Missing Files in Knowledge Base:
- Ensure files are uploaded successfully
- Check file paths match exactly in your directives
- Verify file permissions and access
